Connecting the whole picture, so you don’t have to carry it alone.
An independent owner’s representative for homeowners building and renovating across Colorado.
A custom home or major renovation is one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever take on, and one of the most demanding. It comes with a steady stream of decisions and a level of coordination that has a way of pulling your attention from everything else that matters to you.
That’s where I come in. I keep your project team working from the same information and moving in the same direction. I make sure the scope is clear and the right questions get asked early. And I give you the context to make confident decisions without chasing every detail yourself. My background spans design, construction, and operations, so I understand what each part of the team needs, and where the gaps tend to hide before they become problems.
Whether it’s your first or your fourth
You may be building for the first time, wanting a knowledgeable guide through a process you’ve never navigated. Or you’ve done this before, and simply want someone alongside you this time, so managing it all doesn’t fall to you.
In both cases, my role is the same. I bring clarity and ease to a significant undertaking, so your attention stays where you want it, on the vision for your home and the decisions you’re excited about. Most of the homes I work on are of considerable scale and investment, where the number of consultants and moving parts makes an experienced advisor the difference between simply getting through the process and genuinely enjoying it.
Meeting you where you are
Wherever you are in the process, there’s a place for me to step in to support you. Some homeowners bring me in before a single consultant is hired. Others once the team is in place and the drawings are underway. Either way, I step in and pick up exactly what you need.
Getting the foundation right
So much of how a project unfolds is set in the earliest decisions, long before anyone breaks ground. I curate the right team for your specific project, help refine the scope, and review the drawings so gaps are caught early rather than on site. I bring the full financial picture into focus, so nothing is a surprise later. And I help you navigate the contract process with your consultants, bringing perspective from every side of the process. Much of this comes together in an Alignment Report, a written record of scope, risks, and open items that becomes a reference point for the whole project.
Keeping it aligned
Through construction, I remain a steady presence, on site regularly, present at every Owner-Architect-Contractor meeting, and immersed in the day-to-day in between. Your project depends on talented professionals, each focused on their own area of expertise, and my role is to make their work easier. The questions that touch more than one discipline, and the details that live in the space between roles, are a job of their own. Having worked in both design and construction, I know how those pieces fit together, and that’s the part I take on, so your attention stays on your home, not the logistics of building it.
Seeing it through
I am deeply involved in the project through completion. From the punch list to the final closeout details, I make sure everything is wrapped up properly before you move in.
The Investment
Owner’s representative engagements are structured as a percentage of construction cost, scaled to the size and complexity of your project. The right guidance pays for itself, getting ahead of the change orders, delayed decisions, and scope gaps that quietly cost far more than the fee itself.
